Exterior Photos

Raised garden in the back yard, perrenials planted throughout yard. Photos were taken in spring. Holly bushes have since been planted under large window. Planter boxes fill very nicely in the summer months with beautiful red and pink flowers.

A Kitchen Meant for a Cook

This is my favorite room in the house. In early 2006 we stripped it down to the bare bones, even tearing out sheet rock to update the electrical and insulation. We installed new cabinets with an eye towards both aesthetics and functionality. Toffee stained maple is a beautiful choice. Full sized drawers allow for a pots/pans rack. Narrow cabinets provide storage for baking sheets. A built in wine rack and glass holder always receives guest compliments. The lazy susan was a must-have. Granite countertops are beautiful and functional. All new appliances in a sleek black tone. You will pressed to find such a gourmet kitchen in this price range anywhere else. We hope you can enjoy it as much as we did.

Master Bedroom

Gracious amounts of sunshine through 2 windows. Beautiful hardwood floors.

This room is currently being used by our little guy. Blue paint is very neutral. Closet doors were removed for ease of use but have been retained and could easily be reinstalled.

Features

Adorable 3 bedroom ranch in fabulous South Burlington neighborhood.

Building Notes:
  • 3 bedrooms. One bedroom is currently being used as a dining room and has a sliding glass door to a small deck. Can easily be converted back to bedroom.
  • Fabulous new kitchen- completely remodeled from the floor up in 2006, including additional insulation and new wiring. New ceramic tile floor, maple Kraftmaid cabinets, granite countertops, modern sink and hardware. New GE appliances in 2007 including built-in microwave, energy star side-by-side refrigerator, electric range, and dishwasher.
  • Basement is partially finished. Approximately 400 additional finished sf. Carpeted, heated. Separate laundry space and storage space. Overall a great space.
  • One car garage with powered door.
  • All windows replaced with new low-e windows in 2006, including large picture window in front.
  • Beautiful hardwood floors.
  • Updated bathroom with jetted, extra-deep tub.
  • Freshly painted.

Lot details:

  • Approximately .2 acres.
  • Beautiful, level, landscaped lot.
  • Perrenials bloom beautifully. Something is always in color, April through October. Wait until you smell the lilacs.

Location details:

  • Located in distinguished South Burlington school district.
  • Walking distance to Orchard Elementary School.
  • Extremely easy access to Shelburne Road, I-189/I-89 but quiet and without the buzz of traffic in your ear.

What a realtor couldn't tell you:

  • Orchard School is considered by many to be among the best elementary schools in the state. The same can be said for the South Burlington school system as a whole.
  • This is the friendliest neighborhood we have ever lived in. The neighbors are kind, warm, and always willing to help.
  • Single family homes of this size are difficult to find and are rarely being built anymore. You will find a better value in this home, without the restrictions of homeowners associations, shared walls, or expensive association dues found in condos, and all for a better price.
